Verdict after 9 months.
Awesome experience. Still enjoy driving it. And I am still enjoying looking at it after all these months. The design is still sleek and nice.
Consumption wise, I am getting an average of 12.5km/l from my day to day driving, which involve quite a lot of city drive, and very little of highway drive. Sometimes, if I purposely light footed while driving it, I could get 13 t0 14km/l, but I would rather enjoy driving it. 12.5km/l is almost like driving it without thinking too much about gas.
I had one experience trying to put the whole mountain bike at the back of the car without taking anyone of the tires out, it failed, the whole bike just wouldn't fit into the car. But as soon as I removed one tire, it went in without much hassle.
Alternative?
Ford Fiesta is coming to our market very soon, it has cool 6-speed twin-clutch box technology. It should be a cool alternative that cost a little bit lesser than the Jazz. The Fiesta, however, is slightly low, a little bit like the height of the sedan when you're sitting in it. That to me, is a let down. I would prefer a higher sitting position when I am driving a car.
Madza 2? Never really like it.
Damages
Two places. One on the driving side's door, it was knocked a small dent by the automatic gate when the control was accidentally pressed while entering the house. Careless.
The other one was a knock at the rear by a lady Wira driver. I didn't notice the damage when I went down from the car to inspect. After a few days, while I was washing the car, the dent at the back compartment door near the bottom right corner was visible from certain angle. It will cost me RM200 to do it up. I don't think I want to do it now. I figure cars will always get those little knocks from time to time. I will live with it for now.
